O pássaro negro é um importante elemento na simbologia de toda a história da arte. Já foi visto como uma espécie de Deus nas civilizações da antiguidade. Na Idade Média, era sinal de má-sorte. Poetas como Poe (1809 - 1849) já escreveram sobre o pássaro preto. Van Gogh (1853 - 1890), em seus quadros, faz referências aos corvos.No Sertão brasileiro, é tido como símbolo da seca, da aridez do clima. Também foi cantado por Luiz Gonzaga (1912 - 1989), compositor brasileiro, na música "Assum Preto". E prá você ? O que o pássaro preto pode representar?

The blackbird is an important element in the symbology of all the history ofthe arts. Already it was seen as a species of God in the civilizations of theantiquity. In the Average Age, it was harm-luck signal. Poets as Poe (1809 -1849) already had written on the black bird. Van Gogh, in its pictures, makereference to references corvos. In Brazilian Hinterland, is had as symbol ofdries, of the dryness of the climate. Also it was sung by Gonzaga Luiz (1912 -1989), Brazilian composer, in music “Black Assum”. To you? What a black birdcan represent?
